To levy taxes on the Bowmanville Memorial

WHEREAS Section 304 of the Municipal Act (as amended) authorizes
the Council of a municipal Corporation to impose a tax levy not to exceed
$50000 per year for each rated bed on a public Hospital within the
municipali ty 0
NOW THEREFORE pursuant to The Municipal Act RoSoO. 1970, Chapter 284,
Section 304 as amended, the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle enacts as
follows: -
1.
THAT the Tax Collector levy taxes on the Bowmanville Memorial
Hospital at the rate of $50000 per rated bed on one hundred and
twenty-nine (129) beds for a total tax of siX thousand four
hundred and fifty dollars ($6,450000) for the year 19740
By-Law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this
19th day of August, 19740
