By-Law No. 711-16
A by-lau to authorize the opening of
Bank Accounts.
The Municpal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
enacts as follows:-
1. THAT the Treasurer of the To~m is hereby authorized and
instructed to open Bank Accountc in the name of 'The
Corporation of the TOlin of Newcastle with the following
Chartered Bank of Canada:-
(a) Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
Bo~nanvil1e Branch
-
(b) Toronto-Dominion Bank
Bomaanville Branch
(Temporary Payroll Account)
2. THAT all cheques or drafts drawn on such accounts shall be
signed by the Mayor of the Town of Newcastle and counter-
signed by the Treasurer or Deputy Treasurer of the Town of
Newcastle.
3. THAT the si2natureo of the Mayor and Treasurer on any cheques
issued by the TOl~ of Newcastle may be ~~itten or mechanically
re-produced upon such cheques.
