By-law 2018-104
Being a by-law to amend By-law 2008-039 to establish a Municipal Service Board to
operate a Community Hall in Tyrone in the former Township of Darlington, now in the
Municipality of Clarington
Whereas the Council of the Municipality of Clarington deems it desirable to amend the
composition of the Tyrone Community Hall Board;
Now therefore the Council of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
That Section 2 of By-law 2008-039 be amended by:
a. Deleting the words "eleven(11) persons, one(1) member of whom shall be
a member of Council"; and replacing them with the words 'one Member of
Council and an appropriate number of Directors to maintain operations of
the facility, being no less than three community members;
2. That Section 3 of By-law 2008-039 be amended by:
a. Deleting the words "serve for the term of the appointing council' and
replacing them with the words "be elected annually"; and
3. That this By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing.
