THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NO. 2007-122
Being a by-law to authorize the Mayor and Municipal Clerk
on behalf of the Municipality of Clarington to authorize the
transfer to William Smith Colville, Juan Carol Colville, and
John Alexander Colville.
WHEREAS at its meeting on January 29, 2007, Council of the Municipality of Clarington
received and approved Report #EGD-016-07, and at its meeting on May 28, 2007
declared surplus Part 3 on Plan 40R-24789 pursuant to By-Law 95-22,
AND WHEREAS The Corporation of the Township of Darlington became The
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle on January 1, 1974 by virtue of the enactment of
the Regional Municipality of Durham Act, 1974, S.O. 1974 and whereas The Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle became The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington by
virtue of the enactment of an amendment to the Regional Municipality of Durham Act,
1993, S.O. 1993, Chap. 3 on July 1, 1993. Any reference to The Corporation of the
Township of Darlington is deemed to be The Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY the Council of The Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. THAT the Mayor and Municipal Clerk on behalf of the Municipality of Clarington
are authorized to execute a transfer of Part of the Road Allowance between
Concession 1 and Broken Front Concession, Darlington, designated as Part 3 on
Plan 40R-24789, Clarington, to William Smith Colville, Juan Carol Colville, and
John Alexander Colville.
