Darlington Township Council met in the Council Chambers on
this date, all Members present, Reeve Muir presiding.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that the Members of
Court of Revision for the year 1968 shall be, Mr. H.C.Muir, Chairman,
Messrs. Carl Down, Richard Gibbs, H.Ben Drown and Russell Dow.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that this Council now
adjourn to the call of the Chair for the purpose of a meeting of the
Court of Revision.
Council resumed at 10.55 P.E., Reeve Muir in the Chair,
Moved by Councillors Drown and Gibbs that the Treasurer of
this Township is directed to strike from the 1967 tax roll, those
amounts shown on a Resolution of the Court of Revision as cancelled
or rebated, under Section 131 of the Assessment Act, and also amounts
from rolls of previous years as cancelled under Section 244 of the
Assessment Act.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that this
Council agrees to the deletion of Item No. 5 from Amendment No. 4 to
the Official Plan for Darlington Planning Area, by the Minister of
Municipal Affairs.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that this
meeting adjourn.
