Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that the
minutes of the meeting held February 15, 1968, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that Road
Accounts for the month of February, 1968, in the amount of $14,630.85
as approved by the Road Committee, be paid.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that written
confirmation be forwarded to Central Lake Ontario Conservation
Authority to the effect that it is the intention of this Township
Council to have the improvement of Road No. 10 project put on their
1968 Road program, corresponding with the Conservation plan of building
a pond.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that Reeve
Muir attend the meeting of the Area Transportation Study in Oshawa on
Wednesday, March 13, at 2 P.M.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that the
Township of Darlington share of Phase Two of the Refuse Disposal Study
in the amount of $2802.17 be paid to the Central Ontario Joint Planning \
Boa rd .

Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Depu~y Reeve Down that Membership
fee of $10.00 be forwarded to the Association of Municipal Clerks and
Treasurers of Ontario.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that this

Council hereby adopts a recommendation of the Co-Ordinating Co~~ittee
on Township Road Programming study, and that the 1968 roads rate for
this Township is set at 17 Mills.
Moved by Ueputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that in the
matter of the proposed Rodesky plan of sub-division the Clerk is
instructed to inform the Minister of Municipal Affairs that all conditions
as set out in a letter dated December 6, 1967, have been complied with.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that
Clifford Pethick be appointed Warble Fly Inspector for the Township of
Darlington for the year 1968, at the same hourly rate as roads casual
la bour.

Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that Rule 33
be suspended for the duration of this meeting.
On motions as filed a By-law to close and convey part of an
unopened road allowance in Lot 33, Con. 3, was given its several readings,
signed,sealed and numbered 2379.
On motions as filed a By-law to close and convey part of road
allowance in Lots 14 & 15, B.F.Concession, was given its several readings,
signed, sealed and numbered 2380.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that this
meeting adjourn.
