HAHPTON, MAY 2, 1968.

Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building
on this date, all Members present except Mr. Brown, Reeve Muir presiding.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that the
minutes of the meeting held April 18, 1968, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that
Mr. Bell, Roof Inspection Services, be engaged to inspect the roof on
the Muhicipal Building.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Down that road
accounts for April 1968, in the amount of $11,057.92, as approved by the
Road Committee, be paid.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Councillor Dow that a letter
from W.S.Colville, Lot 17, B.F.Concession, be acknowledged and that
Mr. Colville be informed that Council has no plans for disposing of the
road allowance fronting his property, and that plans for slope
development can not be undertaken this year.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that the
next meeting of Council shall be held on Friday, May 17, 1968, at
1.30 P.B.

Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Veputy Reeve Down that Rule 33
be suspended for the duration of this meeting.
On motions as filed, a By-law to repeal By-laws 2330 and
23'-10, was given its several readings, signed, sealed and numbered 2384.
On motions as filed a By-law to license and regulate
salvage shops was given its several readings, signed, sealed and
numbered 2385.
