Darlington Township Council met in
on this date, Reeve Muir presiding, all Members
Councillor DC'..
Moved by Councillors Brown and G~bbs that the minutes of the
meeting held on May 17, 1968, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and
for the month of May 1968, in the amount of
the Road Committee, be paid.
Moved by Councillors Brown and Gibbs that the Township's
insurance coverage be continued for 1968, as in 1967.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that, this
Council approves the location of a new Post Office building in
Hampton, as set out in a letter presented to this meeting by the
Department of Public Works, Canada.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that Rule 33 be
for the duration of this meeting.
On motions as filed, a By-law to authorize works of
Community Telephone Company on Township road allowances, was given its
second and third readings, Signed, sealed and numbered 23~
Moved bi Councillors Gibbs and Drown that a BY-law to
authorize the issue of debentures in the amount of $120,000.00, to
finance the building and equipping of an addition to the Public School
at Enniskillen, will be considered at the next Session of Council.
