HAMPTON, DECSMBER 5, 1968
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal
Building on this date, all members present, Reeve Muir presiding.
Moved by Deputy-Reeve Down and Councillor Gibbs that the
minutes of the meeting held November 22, 1968 be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs gnd Dow th3t road accounts
for the month of November 1968, in the amount of $42,830.88, as
approved by the Roads Committee, be paid.

Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy-Down that this Council
is in favour of the principle of Regional Government.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that the Clerk is
instructed to contact Ontario Hydro, to enquire as to the possibility
of having maintenance and replacement of lamps in the Hampton Street
lighting system undertaken by the Commission.
Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy-Reeve Down that this
meeting adjourn.
