Hampton, April 17th, 1967.
Darlington Township Council met in Special Session on this date
t8 consider a request from Darlington Township School Area Board for the
issue of debentures for public schoo:+' purposes, and to consider
applications for the position of Township Treasurer. All members present,
Reeve Muir presiding.

Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Brown that approval
is hereby given to the proposal of the Public School Board of the
Township School Area of Darlington, to issue debentures, repayable over
a term of 20 years, in the capital amount of $120,000.00, to meet the
cost of building and equipping a four-room addition to the public school
at Enniskillen, former school section #16, subject to the approval of
the Ontario Municipal Board.

Moved by Co~~cillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Down that Mr. A.
DeGagne be offered the pesi tion of To\mship Treasurer at an annual
salary of $6,800.00, the salary rate t, be reviewed at the end of 1967,
and in addition a grant of $200.00 toward the cost of moving to this
area.
