Hampton, June 15, 1967.
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this day, Reeve Muir presiding, Deputy Reeve Down and Councillors Gibbs
and Dow present.
Moved by Councillors Dow and Gibbs that the minutes of the
meetings held June 1, and June 6, 1967, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Dow and Gibbs that the report of
C. Pethick, Warble Fly Inspector for the Township of Darlington, showing
that 3029 cattle were treated in first treatment, and 2921 cattle
treated in second traatment in the year 1967, be received and filed.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that accounts
for the month of May, 1967, as listed herewith, be paid.

the duration of this meeting.
On motions as filed a By-law to repeal BY-law 2338, was given
several readings and signed, sealed and numbered 2358.
Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Down that a draft
BY-law to provide for licensing of dogs and to control running at large
of dogs be amended by striking out, in Paragraph I (e) the words " by
means of a leash at least 10 feet in length", and that paragraph 6 be
$ 93,062.42
Dow that Rule 33
be suspended
deleted.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Dow that, having studied a
report entitled "10 acre lots, Subdivision Control in Rural Areas",
prepared by the Staff of the Central Ontario Joint Planning Board, and
adopted by that Board, this Council endorses the recommendations
contained in Paragraph 1, 4 and 5 of Section 9 of the report.
On motions as filed a By-law to pbovide for the licensing and
registration of dogs and for regulating the running at large of animals,
was given its several readings and Signed, sealed and numbered 2359.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that the Staff
prepare estimates for fire protection from the City of OShawa, and set
up a fire protection area to include Lots 28 to 35 inclusive in Concessions
2,3,4 & 5, and the north half of those lots in Concession 1.
Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Down that the Clerk
ask for prices for insulation of the ceiling in the Township Municipal
Building.

Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Dow that the Clerk is
instructed to contact the City of Oshawa Works Department to arrange a
meeting with the Township Road Committee for the purpose of discussing
a proposed amendment to the Boundary Road Agreement.
Moved by Councillors Dow and Gibbs that this meeting
