Hampton, August 3, 1967.
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all Members present, Reeve Muir presiding.
Moved by Councillors Dow and Gibbs that the minutes of the
meeting held July 19, 1967, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Dow that Road Accounts for
July 1967, in the amount of $ 42,274.95, as approved by the Roads
Committee, be paid.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that the Central Ontario
Joint Planning Board be advised that it is this Council's intention to
include in its 1968 estimates a sum sufficient to provide for this
Township's share of phase two of the Area Waste Disposal Study.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that the Reeve
and Clerk are authorized to approve plans for automatic crossing
protection at Martin Road, Metcalfe Road and Bennett Road, as submitted
by the C.N.R., as plans S.D.7365,s.D.7366, S.D. 7373.
Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Down that a petition
received referring to Public School matters, be received and filed, and
that the Public School Board be asked to express its position in regard
to the matter.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and ~rown that the Clerk is
instructed toadvertise in the Municipal World for applications for the
position of Township Treasurer, and to receive such applications.
Moved by Councillors Brown and Gibbs that Mr. Salmers,
Solicitor for hr. and Mrs Roth, be informed that an Amendment to the
Zoning By-law presently being prepared, would permit his Client to
add to his dwelling and that it is suggested that the proposal should
be postponed until the amendment is in force.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that a Court
of Revision is hereby constituted for the year 1967, to deal with
appeals under Section 131 of the Assessment Act, and that the following
persons are hereby appointed Members:
H.C.Muir, Carl Down, Richard Gibbs, R.Ben Brown, Russell Dow.
Moved by Councillors Brown and Gibbs that this Council next
meet on Wednesday, August 16, 1967, at 7.30 P.M., and that this
meeting adjourn.

COURT OF REVISION.
A Session of the Court of Revision for Darlington Township
was held on this date, Reeve Muir in the Chair, Messrs. Down, Gibbs,
R.Ben Brown and Dow present.

Moved by Mr. Down and Mr. Dow that pursuant to the authority
given by Section 131 of the Assessment Act R.S.O. 1960,
the taxes, as attached, be struck from the 1967 Tax Roll.
Moved by Mr. Gibbs and Mr. Brown that this Court adjourn.
