Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building
on this date, Members all present, Reeve Muir presiding.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that the minutes of the
meeting held August 16, 1967, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Dow that Road Accounts
1967, in the amount of $5'4,666.23, as approved by the Road
be paid.
Moved by Councillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Down that it be
recorded that E.R.Lovekin, Solicitor for Bowbrook Investments Ltd., as
Owner, and Brookdale Kingsw~y Ltd., as Tenant, appeared at this meeting
to object to the passing of a By-law to expropriate land in Lot 13,
Broken tront Concession, on the basis that an unsatisfactory access,
created as a result of the building of Waverly Road overpass over
Highway 401 would be made more difficult by the proposed construction.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy heeve Down that Rule
33 be suspended for the duration of this meeting.

On motions as filed a By-law to provide for the expropriation
of land for road improvement in Lots 13 & 14, Broken Front Concession,
was given its several readings, signed, sealed and numbered 2364.

On motions as filed a By-law to provide for the execution
of a road agreement with St. Mary's Cement Company was given its
several readings, signed sealed and numbered 2365.
A By-law to authorize installations of the Community
Telephone Company was given its First and Second readings and numbered
2366.

Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Brown that the Reeve and Clerk
are hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the Hydro-Electric
Power Commission of Ontario, to permit the placing of poles on the
Township's land in part of Lot 20, Concession 3, Darlington.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Down and Councillor Dow that the
Reeve and Clerk are authorized to approve C.P.R. diagram SL-32-166.92,
being a plan of crossing protection at Lot 22, Base Line, as re-located.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Dow that this meeting
