DarlinGton TOlmshtp Conncil met in the Muntcipal Building
on this date, all Nembers present, Reeve Huir presiding.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve DovTn that the
minutes of the meeting held October H3 be approved as read.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Drown that Mr. Sims, of
Totten, Sims, Hubicki & associates, is hereby instructed to prepare the
necessary s'lbmission to the R'3.ilway Trans.nort Committee of the
Can9.dian Transport Comnission, for an application to provide for
protection and improvement at the G.P. ci.Crossing in Lot 1 on the second
line of Darlington, also at the nearby crossing on the Boundary Road
between Clarke and Darlington, and the elimination of the crossing
on the thi rd line of Clarke wi th diversion road as di scussed by a
joint meeting held on October 18, 1967.
Also resolved that this Council feelS that the cost of
improving the Bonndary crossing shouln be equally shared, and costs
in the other cases should be borne by the Township in which the
crossing is located.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Drown that Rule 33 be suspended
for the duration of this meeting.

On motions as filed a BY-law to a)point a Treasurer for the
Township of Darlington was given its several readings and signed,
sealed and numbered 2371.
Hoved by Councillor Dow and Deputy Reeve Do\m that the
sala"y of the Treasurer of this Township shall be $6500.00 per annum,
the rate to apply until the end of 1968.
Hoved by Councillors Dow and Brown that cheques drawn on all
bank accounts of this Township shall be signed by either the Reeve,
H.C.Huir or the Deputy Reeve, Carl Dovm, and countersigned by the
Treasurer Lloyd Peterson.
Hoved by Councillor DO,' and Deputy Reeve Down that this
meeting adj ourn.
