Hampton, March 3rd, 1966.
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this date, all members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Budai that the minutes of the
meetings of February_17th and February 24th, 1966, be adopted as read.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Budai that Rule 33
be suspended for the duration of this meeting.
On motions as filed a By-law to repeal By-law #2308 was
given its several readings and signed, sealed and numbered 2320.
On motions as filed a By-law to regulate the operations of
pits and quarries within the Township of Darlington, was given its
several readings and Signed, sealed and numbered 2321.
66-3-9,10 & 11 On motions as filed a By-law authorizing entering into an
Agreement with st. Mary's Cement Company, was given its several readings
and signed, sealed and numbered 2322.

Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that the 1965 Audit presented
by Mr. Gordon Riebl of Deloitte, Plender, HOskins and Sells, be adopted
as presented.

Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Road
Accounts in the amount of $11,430.34, as approved by the Roads Committee,
be paid.

Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that all
correspondence not otherwise dealt with be received and filed.

Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs, that, due to
the resignations of Ross Stainton, Lloyd Halliday and Mike Nemis from
the Zion Community Centre Board Guy Chamberlain, Howard Hobson and
Stan Rout are hereby appointed to the Zion Community Centre Board for
1966.
66-3-16,17 & 18 On motions as filed, a By-law to adopt estimates, set tax
rates and authorize methods and terms of collections was given its
several readings and ordered signed, sealed and numbered 2323.
