Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building
on this date, all Members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
Moved by Councillors Budai and Gibbs that the minutes of the
meeting held May 5, 1966, be adopted as read.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Budai that the
Ontario Provincial Police be asked to have Constable Cornell attend a
meeting of Council to discuss appointment of crossing guards.
Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that accounts for the
month of April, 1966, as listed herewith be paid:

Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that Chas. Warren,
Building Inspector, be authorized to attend the National Building
Conference in Toronto, May 30 to June 2, 1966.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Budai that the
United Counties be informed that this Council feels that Scugog Road
should not be turned over to the Township until the new road is
completed, through Darlington.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that Totten,
Sims, H~bicki and Associates Ltd. and the Township Staff are hereby
authorized and instructed to prepare a submission to the Board of
Transport Commissioners for Canada in respect of improvement to the
crossing of the Canadian National Railways at Waverly Road,Croad between
Lots 13 and 14, Broken Front Concession) and to prepare the necessary
plans and specifications and tl take such action as may be required for
the completion of the project.
Moved by Councillor Gib~s and Deputy Reeve Muir that, as it is
necessary that some trees be removed from the Base Line right-of-way in
order to properly complete the Development Road # 706 project, the
Township's Consulting Engineers, Totten, Sims, H~bicki and Associates
are hereby instructed and authorized to take such action as may be
necessary in this matter

meeting adjourn.
