Hampton, October 20th, 1966.
Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building on
this Date, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Budai that the minutes of
October 6th, 1966, be adopted as read.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that the Road
Superintendent and Consulting Engineer be requested to inspect the
Zion Park and report on the drainage problem.
Moved by Councillor Down and Deputy Reeve Muir that the Clerk
apply for approval of a Winter Works project in the amount of $lt,oOO.OO.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that this
Council requests the Department of Highways to approve pavement I
marking on Development Road 706 as part of the Developement Road project.
Moved by Councillor Gibbs and Deputy Reeve Muir that the Road
Superintendent order signs to prohibit burning on Township property by
unauthorized persons.
Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that a letter
of report on properties required for improvment to the road running
through Lots 17 and 18, Concession It is adopted by this Council and the
Clerk and Solicitor are instructed to take expropriation proceedings
to acquire the lands.
Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that accounts for the
month of September, 1966, as listed herewith, be paid:

Special Session on this date, all members present, Reeve Blanchard
presiding.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs that this
Council petition ;he Ontario Department of Highways for payment of
interim subsidy.
Moved by Councillors Budai and Down that this meeting adjourn.
