Darlington Township Council met in the Municipal Building
on this date, all members present, Reeve Blanchard presiding.
Moved by Deputy Reeve Muir and Councillor Gibbs That the
minutes of the meeting held November 17th, 1966, be adopted as read.
Moved by Councillors Budai and Gibbs that permission is
granted to the Womens Institute of Hampton to canvass the village for
funds to provide for the erection of street signs in Hampton.
Moved by Councillors Gibbs and Down that a letter re fire
protection for West Darlington be referred to the 1967 Council.
Moved by Councillor Budai and Deputy Reeve Muir that a
letter of report on expropriation of land in Lots 32 and 33, Concession 1
and 2, submitted by Wesley C. Down and dated November 29th, 1966, is
adopted by this Council, and the staff is instructed to offer
settlement on that basis.
Moved by Councillors Down and Budai that this meeting be
