1i.. Lake pntario Development Association'.
t'Your Councilts request for L:O:DeA. to conduct a detailed
study of Boti,~manvilleTs Industrial Developrent Program has
been received in our office and will be carried out this
year. We are allotted to survey four communities in 1962
and Bowmanville was fortunate in getting their request in
on time. The surveys being done are as follows: Napanee,
Port Hope, Cobourg, Bowmanville. No doubt you and your
Council will understand that if these studies are done
properly they take considerable. time and effort and there-
fore it will probably be in the Fall before we will be able
to proceed with the Bowmanville request. At this time we
will come to Bowmanville and the offer of your assistance
is greatly appreciated.
Moved by Con. Hughes and Hooper:
That the letter from the Lake Ontario Development
Association with respect to a detailed study of Bowman-
villegs industrial development programme be received and
adopted. carried.
