COUNCIL MINUTES
A Special Meeting of Bowmanville Town Council convened
at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 28, 1963 in the Town Hall,
with his Worship Mayor Ivan M. Hobbs in the Chair.
All members present except Councillor NiChols.
BY-LAWS:
1. Moved by Cr. Oke, seconded by Cr. Hughes.
~ THAT leave be granted to bring in the following By-laws.
1. A By-law to stop up and close part of Simpson
Avenue and to provide for the sale thereof to
William Lewis Lycett.
2. A By-law to accept and establish public highways
in lieu of that part on Simpson Avenue closed by
By-law No. 1876.

2. Moved by Cr. Hughes, seconded by Cr. Hooper.
THAT the By-laws be read a first time referred to
Council in Committee of the Whole read a second time.

THAT we rise and report successful second reading of
the By-laws in Committee of the Whole.

THAT the report of Council in Committee of the Whole
be received and adopted the same be now read a third
time, engrossed signed by the Mayor and Clerk sealed
and numbered.
