MINUTES OF JOINT MEETING OF COUNCIL AND PLANNING BOARD - OCTOBER 23. 1973.
Meeting was held in the Council Chamber at 7:30 p.m.
Present were: Reeve Alfred Gray, Councillors Barr, Rickard, Couch and Hoar
.
Planning Board - Roger Yates, D. J. Cunningham, Del Moore.
Also present were: Mr. Shaw, representing Square 100 Development
Mr. M. Brodigan, Vice President of Windland Associates
Engineering Limited.
Mr. Sims & Mrs. Montieth, of Totten Sims Hubicki Associates
Planning Consultants.
The meeting was called so that Mrs. Montieth of Totten Sims Hubicki Associates
could discuss with Mr. Brodigan, Mr. Shaw and Council and Planning Board, the
relationship of the revised plan for Square 100 to the Official Plan for the
Village of Newcastle.
Another joint meeting of Council and Planning Board was called for November
6th, 1973, at 1:3g p.m.

Moved by Councillor Hoar, seconded by Councillor Couch that a letter be
drafted to James C. Auld, Minister of the Environment, objecting to any
development, re trailer park, using our sewage disposal plant. Carried.
Res. 514
Moved by Councillor Couch, seconded by Councillor Hoar that the meeting
adjourn. Carried.
