MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING MAY 24. 1973.
Meeting held in Municipal Office at 7:30 p.m.

Present were: Reeve Alfred Gray, Councillors Barr, Couch and Hoar.
Res. 385 Moved by Councillor Couch, seconded by Councillor Hoar that
the Village of Newcastle apply for a loan under the Winter Capital
Projects Fund in respect of the following project, namely Water Works -
comprising an intake into Lake Ontario, a low lift Pumping Station, a
Treatment Plant, Storage Facilities, and Trunk mains to integrate the
work with the existing distribution systelll, in the amount o~ $1,122,000.
Carried.
Res. 386 Moved by Councillor Hoar, seconded by Councillor Barr
that the Village of Newcastle submit an application for a loan
under the Winter Capital Projects Fund in the respect of a Fire
Hall. Carried.
The Cler~ w~s instructed to answer a letter from McComiskey & Atkinson
re Milani and Milani, that the matter would be considered on June 4
at the Planning Board meeting.
Res. 387 Moved by Councillor Hoar seconded by councillor Couch
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
