MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 22. 1973.
Meeting was held in the Municipal Office at 7:30 p.m.

Present were: Reeve A. Gray, Councillors K. Barr, F. Couch,
F. Hoar and R. B. Rickard.
A series of questions was prepared to be presented at the joint
meeting of Councils on January 23, 1973 in Bowmanville at the
Council Chambers., regarding Regional Government.
Res. 284
Moved by Councillor Rickard, seconded by Councillor Barr
that the Clerk investigate the cost of having the tax bills
printed by computer. Carried.
Res. 285
Moved by Councillor Hoar, Seconded by Councillor Barr
that Steven Staby be given permission for a building permit
for one house on his property in Block P, Park Street, provided
he retains one acre of land as per the requirements of the
Planning Board. Carried.

Res. 286
Council instructed the Clerk to prepare a letter of condolence
to Irvin McCullough and family, expressing their s~pathy in the
loss of a loving wife and mother. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Hoar, seconded by Councillor Barr that
the auditors, Dunwoody & Co. be asked to conduct an au~it of
the Village books. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Barr, seconded by Gouncillor Huar
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
