MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL HEETING HELD IN COUNCIL CHA}ffiERS OF
NEWCASTLE COHHUNITY HALL - JANUARY 15. 1973 at 7.00 n.m.
Present at this meeting were Reeve A. Gray and Councillors
F. Hoar, R. B. Rickard and Keith D. Barr.

MOved by Councillor R. B. Rickard, seconded
by Councillor F. Hoar that CouncillorKeith D. Barr be appointed
Secretary for this special meeting of Council. Carried.
Resolution No. 282
Moved by Councillor F. Hoar, seconded by

Councillor R. B. Rickard that the Village Council appoint Hrs. Gertrude
Gray, on a temporary basis, to the position of Acting-Clerk, Treasurer
and Tax Collector at a salary of $625.00 per month. Carried.
