MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL - August 10, 1972
Meeting was held in the Municipal Office at 7.30 p.m.
.
Present were: Reeve Alfred Gray, Councillors Frank Hoar, Keith Barr,
Brenton Rickard and Fred Couch.
Res. 176 Moved by Councillor Rickard, Seconded by Councillor Barr
that Mr. I. Milani be contacted to meet with Council Tuesday, August 15th
or Wednesday, August 16th at 8 p.m. to discuss the sewage ~ystem.
Carried.
Res. 177 Moved by Counciller Couch, Seconded by Councillor Barr that
By-Law No. 72-13, being a by-law to prohibit the keeping of domestic
fowl or cattle, goats, swine, mink, foxes, horses or mules, except
dogs and cats within a defined area of the municipality, be read a
first time. Carried.

Res. 178 Moved by Councillor Hoar, Seconded by Councillor Rickard
that By-Law No. 72-13 be read a second time. Carried.
Res. 179 Moved by Councillor Rickard, Seconded by Councillor Couch
that By-Law No. 72-13 be read a third time and finally passed. Carried.
The Clerk WaS instructed to write the Chamber of Oommerce stating that
Council approves the use of the west lawn of the Community Hall for the
purpose of a beer~rden on Saturday, September 16th.
Res. 180 Moved by Councillor Rickard, Seconded by Councillor Hoar
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
