MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL - May 15th. 1972
Meeting was held in the Council Chambers at 7 p.m.
.
Present were: Reeve A. Gray, Counoillors F. Couch, F. Hoar,
K. Barr and R. Rickard.
Res. 118
Mr. Roger Treumner of Totten, Sims and Hubicki, Planning
Consultant, was present to discuss with Council Planning
Programs for the Village of Newcastle.
Moved by Councillor Rickard, Seconded by Councillor Couoh
that Roger Treumner of Tatten, Sims and Hubicki be hired
as Planning Consultant to prepare an Offioial Plan and Zoning
By-Law at a cost of $7,500 including 8 meetings, payments
of $500.00 to be made monthly commencing July 1st, increasing
to $750.00 per month as of January 1st, 1973 for the remaining
six months, subject to the Village being designated as a
Planning Area by the Department of Municipal Affairs. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Couoh, Seconded by Councillor Hoar that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
