MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL - April 20th. 1972
Meeting was held in the Municipal Office at 7.30 p.m.

Present were: Reeve A. Gray, Councillors F. Couch, F. Hoar,
K. Barr and R. Rickard.
Council's representative to the Ganaraska Conservation Authority,
D. J. Cunningham, was present at Council's request to discuss
the increased levy for 1972 by the Ganaraska Authority.
Res. 98
Moved by Counciller Hoar, SeOonded by Councillor Barr
that the Canadian Cancer Society be granted permission
to conduct a campaign in the Village between April 24th
and 28th. Carried.
Res. 99
Moved by Councillor Couch, Seoonded by Councillor Hoar
that the P.U.C. be advised that permission is granted
to install 15 new lights at an appreximate cost of $300.00,
8 on Mill Street South, 2 in Graham Court, 2 on North Street,
1 on Church Street South, 1 on Beaver St. South and 1 on
Robert Street. Carried.

A letter was read from the Recreation Committee requesting the
attendance of both Council representatives at their meetings.
Councillor Rickard will discuss this problem with the Recreation
Chairman.
Res.lOO Moved by Counoillor C~uch, Seconded by Counoillor Rickard
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
