MINUTES OF COUNCIL r1EETING - January 13th, 1972
Meeting was held in the Council Chambers at 7.30 p.m.

Present were: Reeve Alfred Gray, Councillors Frank Hoar, Fred Couch,
Keith Barr and Brenton Rickard.
Moved by Councillor Hoar, Seconded by Councillor Barr that an
Application for Loan under the Feder~l Provincial Employment
Loans Program be submitted to the Province of Ontario for
approval. Carried.

Moved by Councillor Couch, Seconded by Councillor Hoar that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
Kilborn Engineering personnel, John Thiel, Dick Cave and Barney
Burke, requested an informal meeting with members of Council and
the Manager of the P.U.C., Mr. Jenkins for the purpose of bringing
all members up-to-date on the Sewage and Water Projects. This
meeting took place immediately folldwing the business meeting of
Council. Reeve Gray thanked Mr. Thiel, Mr. Cave and Mr. Burke for
taking their time to come to Newcastle for this purpose.
