MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - November 26th. 1971
Meeting was held in the Municipal Office at 5 p.m.
Present were: Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors Margaret Brereton,
Alfred Gray, Fred Couch and Frank Hoar.
Moved by Councillor Gray, Seconded by Councillor Couch that
permission be granted to the Department of Transportation and
Communication to enter onto Baldwin Street to varry out the
work of removing the obstructions from the creek south of
Highway No. 401. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Brereton, Seconded by Councillor Gray that
the Association of Ontario Mayors and Reeves' Resolution of
November 16th to intervene to oppose Bell Canada's application
to increase rates, be approved. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Brereton, Seconded by Councillor Hoar that
hyerett Lake's tender for the wiring of the new garage on Caroline
Street be accepted. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Gray, Seconded by Councillor Couch that the
meeting adjourn. Carried.
