MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL - October 20, 1971.
Meeting was held in the Municipal Office at 8 p.m.
~sent were: Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors F. Hoar, F. Couch
and M. Brereton.
Mr. Scott Fennell met with Council for the purpose of bringing Council
up to date on the progress of the work at the harbour.
The Ontario Municipal Board advised the O.W.R.C. that the new form of
Agreement for the provision of sewage service may now be executed without
further approval by the Board.
By-law 71-17 is rescinded by the following By-law (71-20) which excludes
paragraph 3 which states "This by-law is subject to the approval of the
Ontario Municipal Board".
Moved by Councillor Brereton, seconded by Councillor Hoar that By-law
71-20, a by-law to execute the Agreements with the O.W.R.C. for the
provision of Sewage Service be read a first time. Carried
Moved by Councillor Couch, seconded by Councillor Brereton that By-law
71-20 be read a second time. Carried
Moved by Councillor Hoar, seconded by Councillor Couch that By-law 71-20
be read a third time and finally passed. Carried.
Moved by COPncillor Couch, seconded by Councillor Hoar that meeting
adjourn. Carried.
