Subject: Car Allowance
"Statement. of Policies for Non -Union Employees".
Any employee required to use his/her own automobile on Corporation
business shall receive an allowance (as set by Council by resolution)
for such use and all claims for such payment shall require the
authorization of the Department Head concerned before payment is
made.
I would recommend that the Car Allowance.for Non -Union Staff and
Members of Council be increased to $0.23 per mile effective May
lst, 1978.
