That the matter be referred back to the Town Manager for
further consideration and report.

On February 6th, 1978 Finance and Administration Committee passed the
following recommendations:
# FA -97-78 - That the Director of Public Works Report
and recommendation to reclassify John Ferguson as Deputy
to Director of Public Works be approved.
On February 13th, 1978 Council approved this recommendation but as
a salarywas not recommended the Town Manager was asked to consider
the matter and report back to the. next Committee meeting..
Report #TM -17-78 was tabled by resolution FA -139-78 to be dealt
with when salaries were being considered for non-union staff.'
As the 1978 salaries have been approved, i. would recommend that
Mr. Ferguson be appointed Deputy to the Director of Public Works
effective February 13th, 1978 at an annual salary of $18,780.00.
