The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
By-law Number 2018-019
Being a By-law to authorize agreements between the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to
prepare and implement an Orono Economic Development Strategy.
WHEREAS the Municipality of Clarington wishes to enter into Contribution Agreements
with the Province of Ontario in order to receive funding towards the preparation of the
Orono Economic Development Strategy, including grants under the Ontario Rural
Economic Development (RED) program;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
enacts as follows -

1. THAT the Clerk and the Director of Planning Services are hereby authorized to
execute any necessary Agreements between Her Majesty the Queen in Right of
Ontario and the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington for the preparation
and the implementation an Orono Economic Development Strategy.
