MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - September 16. 1969.
Meeting was held in Municipal Office at 5:15 p.m.
Present were: Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors Frank Hoar
and Alfred Gray.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Gray
that the Village purchase a 196) Chev. truck with snow
plough and sander from Ontario Motor Sales Ltd. at a
price of $2,600.00 plus tax, for maintaining Village
roads. Carried.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that the Village obtain two estimates for the following
work on the truck, sander and plough:
1. Sand blast and paint the sander.
2. Repair rust and paint the truck body, the paint
colour to be the same as the existing colour.
). Paint the snow plough.
4. Inspect truck for mechanical fitness certificate.
5. Change oil, lubricate truck and small motor. Check
the lights.

that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
