Present were: Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors F. Couch
R. Hoar, and A. Gray. r~. T. Messenger, p~nager of the
P.U.C. was also present.
Res. 172 Noved by Councillor Couch, Seconded by Con. HoaT
that a three year lease be granted to Miss C. Butler for
land at the lake. The annual rental to be Jl.OO per year
payable with the lqst instalment of taxes. Carried.
Ees. 173 Noved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that the Offer to Purchase, received from Mr. Ronald Hope,
re the former Jacob's property, Manvers and George Streets,
be accepted. Carried.

This meeting was called to discuss the proposed Sewer
Project. Nr. Hessenger brought before Council all the
figures regarding water consumption for 1968, as sewage
rates are to be calculated on the number of gallons of
water used. Prontage rates and connection charges were
discussed and it was felt another meeting would be
necessary before a typical home charee could os arrived at.

that O. ,i.It.C. be advised that Council are pre!)ared to go
ahead with test drilling for the proposed new well. Carried.
Res. 175 Noved by Con. Hoar, 8econded by Con. Gray
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
