HINUTEiJ OF "PBCIAL NBETING OJ!' COUNCIL - May 29. 1969
Meeting held in Hunicipal Office at 8.15 p.m.
Present were: Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors Joan Frith,
Fred Couch, Frank Hoar and Alfred Gray, and a delegation from
"t. Georges Anglican Church to discuss ways and means of im-
proving conditions at Bondhead Cemetery.
It was decided that:
(1) The ownership of the Cemetery shall remain with the
Church.
(2) It was agreed that a management Board be set up of
citizens of the Village.
(3) The following names were suggested as persons to be
contacted and asked to accept the appointment:
Murray Patterson, Fred Couch and Alfred Gray and
Douglas Wright, Councillor Couch to represent Council.
Moved by Councillor Hoar, 8econded by Councillor Couch that
Mrs. Gray, the Clerk's Assistant be given two weeks holiday
pay. Carried.
Moved by Councillor Hoar, Seconded by Councillor Gray that
the meeting adjourn. Carried.
