MINUTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING - April 14. 1969.
Meeting held in Council Chamber.
Present were Reeve Cunningham, Councillors Couch, Frith
Gray and Hoar.
hoved by Councillor Couch, 0econded by Councillor Hoar
that the minutes of Council meetings March 10, 18, and
27th be adopted as printed. Carried.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Frith
that the minutes of meeting of Committee of the ,fhole on
Finance be adopted as printed. Carried.
Nr. 'Ii. T. i.>inclair spoke to Council about Custom Glass
LiEited option.
Moved by Con. Hoar, 0econded by Con. Gray
that the option held by Custom Glass Limited be extended
for 30 days. Carried.
Councillor Couch said that the stumps referred to in
Miss Irene Hinch's letter, would be taken care of.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con, Frith
that the Clerk inform the Church wardens of the Anglican
Church that Council is ready to meet with them to discuss
the Cemetery at their convenience within the next 30 days.
Carried.
Mrs. Bruce Tillson requested that some minor play equipment
such as sand boxes be put in the Park on Sunset Blvd.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Gray
that the matter of sand boxes for Westview Heights be
referred to the Property Committee. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that the Clerk make information on ~illage Insurance
available to Mr. Keith Barr so that he may be able to
submit a quotation on this business. Carried.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Couch
that any Councillor wishing to attend the Convention
of the Association of f~yors and Heeves may do so and
that usual expenses be paid. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Frith
that permission be granted to Jilrs. I. M. Keeling
window boxes outside of the old Enwright Store.

that a licence to sell coffee and food from a truck during
the smelt season be granted to Benny's Food Service, Oshawa
(Mr. B. Duval). Carried.

Building report were received.
Moved by Con. Hoar, deconded by Con. Frith
that the Clerk's renort on the Regional Study Seminar held
in Oshawa on April 12, be accepted. Carried.
The matter of issuing building, plumbing and sewage permits
from one source was discussed.
Noved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that application for building nermit by N. Dyriw near
Sunset and Robert, be refused. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Gray
that the Fanny Jacob's property be appraised and Department
approval for its sale be obtained. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Frith
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
