November 18th, 1968.
Meeting held in Municipal Office. Present were Reeve
Cunningham, Councillors Couch, Frith,Gray and Hoar.
hoved by Councillor Couch, Seconded by Con. Gray
that Council approve of the separation of a parcel of
land approximately one and a half acres measuring about
500' by 129' from land owned by the Village of Newcastle
in the First Concession and fronting on Toronto Street,
for the purpose of allwing Ceresdale Fertilizers Ltd.,
room for expansion. Carried.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Couch
that Council approve of the separation of a parcel of land
approximately six acres, measuring about 550' x 480' from
land owned by the Village of Newcastle in the First
Concession and fronting on Toronto Street, to be used for
Industry. Carried.
Hoved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Couch
that approximately one and one half acres of land be sold to
Ceresdale Fertilizers Ltd. and that the Reeve and Clerk are
hereby authorized to sign the necessary papers. Carried.
Hoved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Frith
that the Clerk make an appointment for Council and the
Ontario water Resources Commission for further discussion
of the Sewer Project, as soon as possible. Carried.
Hoved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. l<'ri th
that Harvey Partner be advised that his tender of $6,275.
for the heating s~stem in the Community Hall, is accepted and
that the work must be completed by December 21st, 1968. Carried.
Moved oy Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Frith
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
