MINUTES OF SPECIAL COU1~CIL MEETING October 8. 1968.
Meeting held in MQnicipal Office.
Present were: Reeve Cunningham, Councillors Gray, Couch and Hoar.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Couch
that the tender of the Mackenzie Insulation Company to insulate
to not less than 4" in depth all ceiling areas over the Community
Hall auditorium and dressing rooms for $665., be accepted. Carried.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Couch
that the resignation of Roht. W. Walton from the Village Council
be accepted with regret. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that we approve the application of Mr. Allan Moore to
a piece of land 67' x )00' approximately, part of lot
Township of Clarke, within the Village of Newcastle.

Noved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Gray
that Council approve the application of Douglas Cunningham to
subdivide part of his farm, part lot 29, Con. 1, in accordance
with the plan submitted to Council, subject to the approval of
the Minister and a proper subdivision agreement. Carried.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Couch
that Council approve of the application of Frank Mace to build a sunporch
at his residence. Carried.
Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Gray
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
