MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - September 17. 1968.
Meeting held in Municipal Office.
Present were Beeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors Couch, Gray
Hoar and Walton.
Moved by Con. Walton, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that the Council of the Corporation of the Village of Newcastle
supports the application of Donald J. Deremo to provide a
local bus service between Port Hope and Newcastle on the
Township Road known as the Lakeshore Road and authorizes
Mr. Glenholme Hughes, Clerk, to attend at any hearing on
its behalf. Carried.
Moved by Con. Haor, Seconded by Con. Gray
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
