MINUTES SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING - August 7. 1968.
Meeting held in Municipal Office.
Present were: Reeve Cunningham, Councillors, Gray, Hoar
and Walton, Mr. Tom MesBenger, Manager of
Newcastle P.U.C. and i1r. Brewster of
Mecha~nical Advertising, Oshawa.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Hoar
that the Reeve seek permission from the Counties to
install a Crosswalk Sign at the School corner of Robert
and Mill Sts. and that the Clerk and Reeve be given power
to order the sign at a cost of $598.10 from Mechanical
Advertising, Oshawa. Carried.
Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Walton
that the meeting adjourn. Carried.
