Present were Reeve D. J. Cunningham, Councillors Couch, Gray, Hoar and Walton. Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Couch that leave be granted to introduce a By-law to authorize the sale of property owned by the Municipality and that it be read a first time. Carried. Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con. Gray that it be read a second time. Carried. Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Couch that it be read a third time and finally passed. Carried. Moved by Con. Walton, Seconded by Con. Hoar that we accept the offer of the City of windsor to buy the Riverside Debentures at a price of 80. Carried. Mr. Garnet Rickard spoke to Council with regard to buying more land from the Village to extend the Ceresda~e Plant to the East. A letter from E. R. Lovekin regarding the Cemetery was read and it wad decided that the Reeve and Councillors Hoar, Gray and any other Councillors who are able, should attend the meeting at St. George's Church on Friday June 28th. Mr. hYerett Lake and Mr. John Scott spoke to Council regarding the ditching of the road by their houses and objected to the fact that the p~oposed sewer would pass their houses above ground level. The Reeve said something would be done about the road. Moved by Con. Hoar, Seconded by Con. Walton that a fence be erected at Council's expense between the Ball Park and the Elmhurst Hotel as per agreement with Everett Lake. Carried. Moved by Con. Walton, Seconded by Con. Gray that Glenholme Hughes be appointed as Clerk-Treasurer and Tax Collector at an annual salary of $4,000. effective Jan. 1, 1968. Carried. Moved by Con. Couch, Seconded by Con.
