S~ecial Council Meetin~ - July 18. 1967
Meeting held in the Municipal Office at 8 p.m.
Present - Reeve Walton, Councillors Adams, Foshay,
Gray, Nesbitt.
Moved by Con. Adams, Seconded by Con. Nesbitt
that By-Law No. 799, trailers, be amended by deleting
paragraph two of the enacting clauses. This paragraph
is the retroactive clause. Carried.
The clerk was instructed to warn James White that
he has only two more weeks to complete the demolishion
of the Glenney mill and to clean the land.
Moved by Con. Foshay, Seconded by Con. Gray
that several copies be made of By-Law 799, showing
the deletion of paragraph two; a copy to be delivered
by the Municipal Law Enforcement Officeri to the
occupants of all trailers outside of the park, and
sufficient copies be handed to the propr~etor of
Waltona Park. Carried.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Adams
that a letter be sent to the Board of Transport
Commissioners for Canada stating that the money
required by the village for widing of the road
and installation of warning 8ates at the crossing
of C.N.R. and base line (mileage 285.)8, Kingston
Subdivision) is not included in 1967 Budget. There
is a possibility of including the necessary amount
of money in the 1968 Budget. Carried.
Moved by Con. Nesbitt, Seconded by Con. Foshay
that the meeting adjourn.
