SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
June 8. 1967
Held in Municipal Office.
Present were: Reeve E. A. Walton, Councillors, Adams, Foshay
Gray, and Ne.bitt.
The necessity of passing a Suppltmentary By-Law for Road
Construction was discussed,~ the Clerk is to be advised.
Moved by Con. Foshay, Seconded by Con. Nesbitt:
that traffic By-law No. 80) Violation Tags may be settled out
of Court at the Municipal Office, Community Hall, Newcastle,
wi thin 72 hours, Sundays excluded, on Tuesdays and Fridays
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the follOWing
scale of fines:

The Olerk was instructed to prepare an amendment to Building
By-Law 785 with regard to side yards.
Moved by Con. Adams, Seconded by Oon. Foshay
that Council contact the O.W.R.C. requesting an audit of the
Water Supply System Books covering years 196), 1964, 1965,
1966. Carried.
The Clerk was instructed to write again to the O.it.R.C.
regarding contaminated creeks and that their representative
contact the Municipal Office when he comes to this District.
Moved by Con. Gray, Seconded by Con. Nesbitt
that the meeting adjourn.
