SPECIAL COUNCIL 11EETING
February 25th, 1967.
In Mr. Lovekinfs Office - Present; Reeve Earl Walton,
Councillors Eric Foshay, R. W. Walton, Alfred Gray.
Moved by Councillor Walton, seconded by Councillor Foshay,
WHEREAS By law Number 67-) of the Village of Newcastle
duly passed the 9th day of February, 1967. applies to
the parcel of land hereinafter referred to;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the V111age of Newcastle
has not appointed a Committee of Adjustments under the provisions
of the Planning Act and amendments thereto;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the said Village has been
requested to approve $f the conveyance by William A. Westover
and Anna Marie Westover of the Village of Newcastle to Strathben
Investments Limited, a Company incorporated under the Laws of
the Province of Ontario that portion of the said lot outlined in
red on the Plan of Survey of Flim and Trollope, Ontario Land
Surveyors, dated January 26th, 1967 as Survey Number )26) and copy
whereof is hereto annexed.
NOW THEREFORE on motion duly made, seconded and carried,
it was resolved with the provisio hereinafter set out that the
Council of the Village of Newcastle approve of the said conveyance
and that a certified copy of the Resolution be furnished to Honey,
Brooks & Harrison, Solicitors for the said William A. Westover
and Anna Marie Westover for the purpose of enabling them to forward
the same to the Minister of Municipal Affairs for his necessary
purposes.
