A By-Law 67-5 to repeal By-Law 58) which regulates the closing hours of Hotel Beverage Rooms. First Reading - moved by Con. Gray, seconded by Con Foshay Second Reading - moved by Con. Foshay, seconded by Con. Gray. Third Reading - moved by Con. Gray, seconded by Con. Foshay. Carried. Passed. Moved by Con. Foshay and seconded by Con. Gray that we concur with the resolution submitted by the Township of S~ndwich West, requesting the present Sales Tax Act be amended to exempt Municipalities from payment of this Tax on Machinery, Equipment purchased for the sole use of the Municipality. Carried Moved by Con. Foshaj, seconded by Con. Gray that the letter from the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs be received and filed. Carried. Moved by Con. Foshay and seconded by Con. Gray that the third and final reading be given By-Law 67-4 granting pension to P.U.C. Manager H. S. Britton on his retirement. Carried. Moved by Con. Foshay and seconded by Con. Gray that registration Fees for Councillor attending Good Roads Convention 1 day Seminar amount $10. be paid for by the Village. Moved by Con. Gray and seconded by Con. Foshay ( that Council has confirmed that the $500. voted ~'~' the 1967 Budget for Centennial Purpose, Jan. 9, 1. adequately decorate the main street. ~ ~ 2. any other suitable Centennial preparation. \~ ......, ~. to be included in 1967 is to be used Matter of the Authorization for the sale of part of the Westover land postponed for further discussion.
