Special meeting of Council was called by Reeve Stone to
consider the following business:

The Ontario Municipal Board Decision re Restricted Area
By-Laws 1592, 1613, 1653 approved March 9th; 1970;-Received
and Filed.
Department of Highways"re 1969 Final Return.~Referred to
resolution.
The following resolutions were passed:

Resolve that the following changes be and are hereby made
in the Normal By-Law No. 1624:
$7,33$.67 from B.&C.Construction to Road Construction
$1,002.90 from Road Maintenance to Road Construction
$4,300.51 from Road Maintenance to B.&~. Maintenance.'Carried.

The Inspector is hereby authorized to advertise all the

The Inspector is hereby empowered to be responsible
for the collections mentioned in Item 2 above.
All spraying is to be done under the direction and
supervision of the Warble Fly Inspector. Carried.

Reeve Stone called this Special Meeting to consider
the folloWing business: ,
The Reeve was in receipt of a request from Mosport Park
Limited to have a meeting with Council re the'Peace Festival.
After. a len~y discussion the matter was resolved by the
following motion of Council: .
That we are not opposed to paving a meeting with the
. officials of Mosport Park Limited on March 16, ;1970, at.$ p.m.
as suggested by the Reeve but Council can ~ot make any
recommendation to change their decision ~e the Toronto Peace
Festival that may permit it to b~ held at Mosport Park.
Moved by F. A. Gray, seconded by R. G. Chater. Carrled.
