Minutes of a meeting of Council
called for the purpose of discussing
the Budget for 1980 and held on
Friday, February 22, 1980 at 9:30 a.m.
in the Bell Building Committee Room
Present were:

as follows for a total of $910,000.

The meeting reconvened at 1:15 p.m with all
members of Council and Staff previously
attending, except for Councillor Prout.
Councillor Clarke left the meeting on other
business at 1:40 p.m.
The Budget was discussed page by page.
Mayor Rickard presented a letter from the
Red Cross asking for permission to fly the
Red Cross flag during the month of March.

THAT the matter of the Red Cross Flag be left
with the Mayor.

The next meeting to discuss the budget was set for
Friday, March 7, 1980 at 9:30 a.m..

THAT all Councillors be advised of the March 7th
meeting and , if they have any questions on the
5 Year Forecast or the Current Budget, they get
in touch with the Treasurer prior to the meeting.

THAT the 5 Year Capital Forecast be forwarded to
the Region.
