REPORT II 1
Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:-
Tbe following is a report of the meeting of the Planning and Development
Committee held on May 12, 1980:
1.
O.P.A. part lot 13, Concession 1, Bowmanville (Chow)
It was recommended to Council that Report P-85-80, relative to Proposed Official
Plan Amendment for part lot 13, Concession 1, Bowmanville, J. Chow, 80-ll/D/NB
be received for information.
2.
Courtice West Development Plan
It was recommended to Council that Report P-87-80 be received and the draft neighbour-
hood development plan for Courtice West be received and it be presented to the public
at the next possible regular evening meeting of the Planning Committee, which shall be
duly advertised as a public meeting, inviting public participation.
3.
Courtice South Development Plan
It was recommended to Council that Report P-88-80 be received and the.draftcneighbour-
hood development plan for Courtice South be received and it be presented to the public
at the next possible regular evening meeting of the Planning Committee, which shall be
duly advertised as a public meeting, inviting public participation.
4.
Staging Policies Courtice Urban Area
It was recommended to Council that Report P-89-80 be received and Staff be authorized
to convene a meeting with major property owners from the Courtice Urban Area, in order
to discuss the proposed staging policies as contained in attachment 2 to staff report
P-89-80.
5.
LD 138/80 Hamilton Dodd
It was recommended to Council that Report P-92-80, relative to Land Division Committee
Application LD 138/80 (Hamilton Dodd), correspondence from Mr. B. Heming, Tyrone, be
received for information and Mr. B. Heming be adivsed that a lot development charge
of $1500. is applicable to the subject severance.
6.
Public Meeting Courtice
It was recommended to Council that the Public Meeting regarding the Courtice
Development Plans be held in Courtice and the Director of Planning, the Clerk
and Chairman of Planning and Development Committee arrange the meeting.
