HomeMy WebLinkAbout04/28/1980 . . . REPORT # 2 Mayor Rickard and Members of Council:- The following is a report of the meeting of the Planning and Development Committee held on April 28th, 1980: 1. Hamlet Development Plan for Newtonville It was recommended to Council that Staff be directed to circulate the revised Newtonville Hamlet Development Plan and bring back a report to the Planning and Development Committee, at a suitable meeting, prior to circulation to Regional Council for comment. 2. Rezoning Z-A-3-l3-2 - McCullough It was recommended to Council that Application for Rezoning Z-A-3-l3-2, part lot 28, Conc. 2 Village of Newcastle, not be approved at this time and the applicant invited to resubmit the subject application, at no cost, at such time as the Newcastle Village Urban Area Plan has been finalized. 3. Severance LD 152/79 - Veltri & Sons It was recommended to Council that Report P-74-80 be received for information and the attached agreement be forwarded to Council for execution and a by-law be prepared for that purpose. 4. Rezoning Z-A-3-l0-4 - Mangar It was recommended that application for rezoning Z-A-3-l0-4, part lot 28, Concession 5, Orono, M. Mangar be denied and the file closed. 5. Rezoning Z-A-3-9-2 - McLaren It was recommended to Council that Application for rezoning Z-A-3-9-2, part lot 28, Concession 5, Orono, Dora May McLaren, be received and filed for information. 6. Subdivision l8T-77037 - Yugo Construction It was recommended to Council that Application for Subdivision l8T-77037, part lot 26, Concession 2, Darlington, Yugo Construction, be recommended to the Minister of Housing for approval, subject to the revisions and conditions in Report P-78-80, Resolution #PD-164-80. . . . Rezoning Z-A-2-9-l - Hamilton & Bate It was recommended to Council that application for rezoning Z-A-2-9-l, part lot 8, Block 4, John Grant's Plan for the Town of Bowmanville, being part of Lot 11, Concession 1, former Township of Darlington, Irwin Hamilton and Carol Bate be approved and the attached by-law be forwarded to Council for approval and the Region of Durham be advised of Council's action in respect of the subject application. Site Plan Agreement - Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce It was recommended to Council that the attached Site Plan Agreement for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, King and Temperance Streets, Bowmanville, be approved and a By-law prepared for the purpose of executing the attached agreement to be considered by Town Council at their meeting of May 5, 1980. See By-law 80-53. 9. Site Plan Control By-law Amendment It was recommended to Council that the attached by-law, proposed amendment to Site Plan Control By-law 79-151, be approved. See By-law 80-58.
